OFFICAL RULES

Alpina’s “Every Week Is National Park Week Sweepstakes”

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

SPONSOR: Alpina’s “Every Week Is National Park Week Sweepstakes” is sponsored by Citizen Watch Company of America, Inc., dba Alpina, 350 Fifth Avenue, 29^th Floor, New York, NY 10118 (“Sponsor” or “Alpina”).

This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or YouTube and by entering the Sweepstakes, or by accepting any prize you agree to release and hold harmless Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, and their respective parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies and each or their officers, directors, employees and agents from and against all claims or causes of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes  or receipt or use or misuse of any prize, including any travel related thereto.

ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 states of the United States and Washington, D.C., who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and their  immediate family members and those living in the same household as any employee of Sponsor and any of its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates and related companies, advertising, promotion, or production agencies, web masters and web suppliers (collectively with Sponsor, the “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not eligible to participate or receive a prize in the Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void in Guam, Puerto Rico, and all other U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited by law. 

HOW TO ENTER: Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on April 18, 2020 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on June 6, 2020 ("Promotion Period").

To enter the Sweepstakes, during the Promotion Period sign up for the ALPINA newsletter at us.alpinawatches.com. Limit one entry per person. The use of robotic or automatic devices for entering the Sweepstakes is prohibited and Sponsor reserves the right to nullify all such entries and to disqualify the responsible individual from entering. Additionally, entrants may not register with multiple email addresses nor use any other device or artifice to register multiple times or as multiple registrants. Any entrant who attempts to enter with multiple email addresses under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to register/play multiple times will be disqualified and forfeits any and all prizes won, in Sponsor's discretion.

PRIZE: One (1) America the Beautiful- National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Annual Pass, valid for 1 year from the month of issuance with access to 2,000 National Parks and other Federal recreational lands and facilities across the United States. Each Annual Pass admits pass owner/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per-vehicle fee areas; and pass owner + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, where per-person fees are charged. (Children under 16 are always admitted free). Approximate Retail Value: $80 per Annual Pass. Any prize not accepted by any winner will be forfeited. Prize is non-transferable, and no substitutions will be made except as provided herein or at Sponsor's sole discretion.

SELECTION OF WINNERS: One (1) winner will be selected at random each week for seven (7) weeks during the Promotion Period from all eligible entries received as of the time of selection. All winners will be selected no later than June 20, 2020. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Sponsor’s decisions are final and legally binding on all matters relating to the award determination. Except as otherwise contemplated in these Official Rules, personal information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used in accordance with Sponsor's privacy policy, located at  https://us.alpinawatches.com/pages/privacy-policy.

 NOTIFICATION of WINNERS: Each winner will receive a notification by email or social media direct message and will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (where permitted) after which the prize will be delivered to the winner. If a prize cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state, and other taxes, are solely the responsibility of the winner.  Failure of winner to comply with the above prize claim requirements for any reason, or the return of any prize notification or prize as undeliverable, or the determination that the winner is ineligible to receive a prize, may result in forfeiture of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of e-mail, mailing address and/or telephone number of entrants. If a winner is found to be in violation of any of these Official Rules, he/she may be required to forfeit his/her prize.

 GENERAL RULES: BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, ENTRANT AGREES TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE DECISIONS OF THE SPONSOR AND TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES FROM AND AGAINST ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, OR THE DOWNLOADING OR ACCESSING OF ENTRY MATERIALS, OR THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION OR USE/MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE AWARDED HEREIN, ANY SERVICES PROVIDED BY PARTIES OTHER THAN SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRIZE AWARDED, OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY PRIZE-RELATED ACTIVITY (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, CLAIMS, COSTS, INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES RELATED TO PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, DAMAGE TO, LOSS OR DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY, RIGHTS OF PUBLICITY OR PRIVACY, DEFAMATION OR PORTRAYAL IN A FALSE LIGHT).   Every entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and solely and exclusively in a federal or state court located in New York County; entrant submits to the sole and exclusive personal jurisdiction of said courts for any such dispute and irrevocably waives any and all rights to object to such jurisdiction; (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant or the Sweepstakes Entities in connection with this Sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of New York, the United States, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New York. 

 INTERNET: The use of any automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited. Any person who uses or attempts to use such means to enter the Sweepstakes will be disqualified from participation in the Sweepstakes and will be ineligible to receive a prize. Additionally, no entrant may register with multiple email addresses nor use any other device or artifice to register multiple times or as multiple entrants. Any entrant who attempts to enter with multiple email addresses under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter multiple times will be disqualified and forfeits any and all prizes won, in Sponsor's discretion. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is cancelled or terminated prior to the stated end date, Sponsor will randomly select the winners for the Sweepstakes from among all eligible, non-suspect, entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation/termination. Proof of entering information on Sponsor's website is not considered proof of delivery or receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.

Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmissions or entries that are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible, damaged, garbled, destroyed or misdirected, or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, or for any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or the downloading or accessing of any materials in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor is further not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error, which may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of entries. All incomplete or otherwise non-conforming entries will be disqualified. 

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a potential winner based on an e-mail address, the potential winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry, provided such person meets the eligibility requirements of these Official Rules. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

DATA COLLECTION: Sponsor collects personal information from entrants when they enter the Sweepstakes for use in administration of the Sweepstakes. The information you provide will only be used by Sponsor. By providing your email address, Sponsor may email you company updates and announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time.  

NAMES OF WINNERS: For the names of the winners (7), available after June 20, 2020, email customercare@us.alpinawatches.com. Requests must be received by June 30, 2020.
